About me

Hello, my name is Mathias Morelle and I am a creative Web designer.

Currently I’m 24 and working as a freelance Web and Graphic Designer in Antwerp (Belgium).  I am correctly graduated as a Interactive Multimedia Designer at the (KHM) High School in Mechelen (Belgium). I’m a web addict and I love everything about the web, well except Internet explorer. I love writing xHMTL code, designing layout’s and interfaces, typography, Music, Playing games (sometimes), going to local shows, gigs, party’s and festivals and loving life as it comes to me.

MY PAST

I don’t have a clever story about how I started designing websites, I wasn’t thinking with the web when I was 14, instead I didn’t really got started in web development  until I was in college. I have always been interested in websites and cool illustrations, My first exposure to web design was a class projects, I was really bad at first but since then I loved being able to write code and have this cryptic writing turn into a nice design. I have been making websites, myspace’s and posters ever since, hopefully I’m better at it now though. But thats something you can decide for yourself!

2006-2007: Specialization year: Commercial web-& network traffic @ Scheppersinstituut (Antwerp)
2006: Stating to design Myspace layout’s (for local band’s) and building some website’s
2007-2010: Bachelor: Interactief Multiemedia Design [asp.Net development] @ KHM (Mechelen)
2010: Internship (8 weeks) @ Edge (my first real web development company)
2010-…. : Looking for a job! (Web designer/ Front-end Developer )
